Award for Clinical Improvement & Near Perfect Survey

Award

With the introduction of an entirely new management team, big changes are taking place at the Arbors at Streetsboro. During the week of April 9th, 2018 the building underwent its annual Ohio Department of Health inspection survey. Due to the hard work and dedication of the staff, the facility received a near perfect survey. With only one citation, the Arbor’s team proved that resident care and safety is its top priority. According to LaRissa Carter, the facility’s Administrator, “This was quite the achievement given the state’s roll out of its new ‘Mega Rules’, we really couldn’t have done it without the cooperation of our team”. If the Arbors team continues on this track, it is very likely they will have a deficiency-free survey in the coming year.

The team was also recognized for their achievements at Prestige’s Annual Corporate Conference in Florence, Indiana. On behalf of the facility, Administrator, LaRissa Carter and Director of Nursing, Colleen Boylan accepted an award for Most Clinically Improved. Out of 80 plus Prestige-owned buildings, this award comes because of advancements made in the quality of clinical care provided by the Arbors of Streetsboro’s experienced nursing staff. Colleen Boylan, Director of Nursing said, “Our building has come a long way, we have made great efforts to ensure the quality of care we provide to our residents and I am glad to see it is paying off. I see nothing but a bright future for this building and I look forward to seeing our staff continue to develop and grow.

Respectfully,
Robert Perrotta, LSW, CDCA
Social Services Director
